JUNIOR ESTIMATOR - full time
Assists Senior Estimator in various duties. This person is responsible for learning and carrying out the following:

-Reading, understanding and interpreting blueprints, plans and other specifications in order to calculate quantity takeoffs to price various construction projects. Must be able to learn how to use software-based estimating programs.

-Use software programs to create proposals, revise pricing, document added work orders and change-orders, and keep track of job costs.

-Work with existing customers and create and develop relationships with new and potential clients in order to increase business opportunities for the company.

-Do site estimates and site visits in inclement weather, if needed.

Candidates should be at least a college sophomore with basic engineering classes completed, preferably in Civil, Mechanical, Industrial Technology or General Engineering.
